Meet Chris Tibon, an integral part of our team here at Vista Financial Group, serving as a dedicated Client Service Associate. In this crucial role, Chris ensures seamless operations and delivers exceptional service to our valued clients. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for client satisfaction, Chris plays a vital role in supporting our advisers, and managing administrative tasks.

What role at Vista do you have?

As a Client Service Associate at Vista Financial Group, my primary responsibility revolves around providing essential support to our advisers. This encompasses a wide array of tasks, including creating profiles for new clients, preparing comprehensive reports for upcoming client reviews, and meticulously crafting advice documents for client SOAs and ROAs. Ensuring the seamless implementation of crucial documents is also a key aspect of my role.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

What I find most rewarding about my position as a Client Service Associate is the opportunity to actively contribute to the success of our advisers and, ultimately, the satisfaction of our clients. Being part of a cohesive team that prioritises client well-being is both fulfilling and motivating. In the dynamic landscape of the financial industry, I appreciate the constant learning and growth opportunities. Collaborating closely with advisers allows me to play a significant role in enhancing our client's financial well-being, which is truly gratifying.

What's the most challenging work in your role that you did and how did you overcome it?

One of the greatest challenges I've encountered in my role is navigating the complexity of tasks, especially as someone relatively new to the position. However, I've learned to overcome this challenge by approaching each task with careful consideration and seeking guidance from my experienced colleagues and advisers when needed. By proactively addressing uncertainties and leveraging the expertise of those around me, I've been able to navigate through challenges effectively.

Share a quirky or unique habit you have that helps you stay productive at work.

When it comes to maintaining productivity at work, I've discovered a couple of strategies that work well for me. Firstly, I find that listening to instrumental acoustic tracks creates a serene work environment, allowing me to focus without distractions. Additionally, I often turn to motivational podcasts for an extra boost of inspiration, gaining valuable insights and reminders of my goals from experts in various fields.

When and where was your best vacation?

In 2023, I embarked on a memorable journey to Taiwan, marking my first international travel experience beyond the borders of my native Philippines. This adventure was a feast for the senses, from the vibrant night markets offering tantalising street food to the serene landscapes of Taroko Gorge. Exploring the blend of ancient temples and modern skyscrapers in Taipei was particularly fascinating, leaving me with cherished memories of cultural immersion and discovery.

What's your go-to karaoke song?

When it comes to karaoke, I've found myself drawn to the rhythmic beats of OPM rap songs, which never fail to get me moving and grooving.

What is the weirdest thing you have eaten?

As for culinary adventures, while I'm not particularly adventurous with trying exotic cuisines, I've discovered that some Taiwanese, Korean, or other non-Filipino dishes simply don't suit my taste preferences, reminding me of the diversity of culinary experiences.
