Meet Josh, our seasoned Senior Advice Manager, wielding a wealth of expertise in financial guidance. As our senior paraplanner, he orchestrates seamless collaboration with our advisers, fortifying our team's proficiency in delivering top-tier advice. His unwavering commitment extends to nurturing and empowering our paraplanning and administration crew, ensuring a hallmark of excellence in our services. Beyond his financial prowess, Josh unwinds by exploring new destinations alongside his wife, Ashlea, and young daughter, Scarlett. A connoisseur of great coffee and gastronomic delights, he navigates his travels with an insatiable quest for culinary experiences. Additionally, a fervent sports aficionado, Josh dedicates his leisure moments to cheering for AFL and a myriad of US sports teams.

What do you love about your job?

Moving into my role as a Paraplanner, after formally being an adviser, provided me with more flexibility in my life prior to starting a family. The job itself provides plenty of satisfaction through strategy assessment and modelling for clients along with presenting what can be complex advice in an easy to understand manner.

Where was your last holiday?

We recently took a quick family trip to the Gold Coast in an attempt to chase some warmer weather which was a nice refresher. Our most recent overseas travel was to Bali late last year. We love the relaxed nature of Bali and how welcoming the locals are. We are currently busy planning for our upcoming trip to Singapore in November.

What do you do in your spare time?

I try and spend as much time outside of work with my family, while also keeping up to date on all things sport. Our weeks are starting to be consumed by my daughters swimming, basketball and aerobics so that satisfies my two main interests. And we love to travel if you couldn't tell from the above response!

Favourite sports team?

I'm most partial to AFL and follow Essendon. While I'm an AFL tragic, I wouldn't call myself a die-hard fan, maybe due to so many lean years between success. Could we at long last win a final in 2023?

What Is The Weirdest Thing You Have Eaten?

I'm certainly very conservative with what I tend to eat. While it's left field for this question, my family seem to think I'm extremely strange putting vegemite on my pancakes.
